Disease Control |

| Warm evenings with high humidity make great fungus growing conditions. In some lawns this can be a problem and for those we offer preventative treatments. The best defense is a good offense, so we mentor homeowners on the proper cultural practices and use preventative treatments to keep problems to a minimum. If the symptoms have already appeared we can slow or stop the spread using rescue treatments for the rest of this year and look toward prevention for the following seasons. Let us know if you have been having unexplained brown spots showing up. |  |

The removal of soil cores from your lawn reduces compaction and helps the grass roots to expand into the soil. The right grasses will naturally give you better color, and fewer problems making every one happy. Flea, Tick and Surface Insect Control: These treatments are to protect your family and pets from nuisance insects as well as protecting the lawn from damaging insects. It is wonderful to have a barbecue or family get together and not be eaten alive.

Lawn Mower winterization: This is how we answer that common question of “What do you do in the winter?” During the months of December and January we will pick up your lawn mower and bring it to the shop for routine maintenance then deliver back to your door. Talk to your route manager about this unique time saving (and keeping your car clean) service.

Soil Tests |

| These are done to find the real problem. If a lawn or landscape is not responding to treatment then the next step is to try to identify why. Is it a pH problem or a trace element etc. A soil test can help us zero in on the culprit and get the problem fixed. We’ve tested hundreds of lawns in Johnson County alone to help fine tune our program but every once in a while a lawn may have unique circumstances and this is one tool we can use to help your lawn be its best. |  |
